In Motion Ministries (IMM) wants to be your partner in providing a great mission trip for your group. We take care of the mountain of logistics and details involved in making a mission trip happen. By joining hands with us, you can be sure of a quality missions experience and be free to invest your time in the spiritual development of those in your group. There are two ways your group could be involved with IMM:
1. You can bring a group of any size to participate in one of our scheduled trips. Your group will be part of a larger team. This is a great option for smaller groups and for groups that have not been involved in a mission trip before. We believe there is a great value in integrating your group with others.
2. If you have a group of TEN or more, we can put together a custom mission trip just for your group. Simply fill out this manual and send it back to us. We will put together an option or two that will fit your short-term mission dreams and present it to you.
We will fine tune the project as much as possible to meet your dream. We will take care of the set-up and logistics for your trip, as well as provide an experienced certified IMM team leader to accompany your team and assist you in implementing the missions project.

3. Sign the proposal and submit with a $200 registration fee.

�� Open Trips - these trips are made up
of people from a variety of churches and a variety
of ages. IMM trips are designed to make
it easy for you, as an individual, or for several
people from your church to join a mission
team. They are trips that vary in length, location
and type of ministry to be done. Contact
IMM for current trip availability.
�� Custom Trips - Your Way - Do
you have enough people in your church, school
or group to form your own team? Your pastor,
youth pastor, singles pastor or missions director
probably does not need to have this type of
project added to their schedule! Guess what!
IMM can help. We have people who can be involved
as little or as much as you choose to
help you prepare for, train and plan your mission
trip. We will see that your trip is planned
for the greatest benefit of all involved and in a
professional manner.

In Motion Ministries has found that many
churches and organizations have the desire to do a
mission trip of their own, but need help in making
it happen. Because of this IMM has designed a
missions program that you can use to make your
mission trip a reality. You tell us what you want to
do and we will tell you how we can help.
This custom mission trip program is very
flexible. IMM is prepared to run the entire project
for you or simply take on the jobs that you want us
to. IMM will bring a high level of professionalism
to the areas you choose to have us involved. After
all, this is what we do day in and day out!
Don’t reinvent the wheel! If you choose to
have IMM plan the entire mission trip we will do
everything. This would include: transportation,
housing, food, intense ministry skills training and
general mission trip training, pre-trip paper work
and training, provide a certified mission team
leader, communicate with the country host (your
contact or IMM’s) in the pre-trip process, provide
fund raising ideas, administrate the application
process, keep track of funds as they are raised, and
the list could go on.

�� Application Process - designed to give
IMM an idea of how we can minister to each team
member. It gives us a chance to see where you
have come from and where you are going.
�� Acceptance Packet - Includes: pre-trip
training such as Bible and culture studies for each
team member to do, packing list, travel visa information,
medical and financial forms, information
about your team and the type of ministry you will
be doing, and much more pre-trip information.
�� IMT (In Motion Training) - Training is a vital part of every IMM missions experience. Whether you join an “Open” or a “Custom” trip, you will have an IMT. IMT is designed to develop you and your team into a ministry machine. IMT will include some (or all) of the following: team building exercises, Bible classes, guest speakers, mime, drama, music, puppets, construction training, ministry skills training, travel instructions, safety and health training, culture training, etc. IMT will lay the foundation needed for the rest of your mission trip.
�� The Trip - You and your team will leave
on your trip being led by Certified IMM Team
Leaders. You are the ministry team, your leaders
are there for just that - to lead you. As you step
out to minister, the hand of God will guide you;
and the IMT training will begin to flow out of
you. Many lives will be changed as you minister
God’s love and the truth of His word.
All IMM teams work with a local church or missionary on the foreign field. You will join with them in the work that they are doing on an ongoing basis. Most IMM teams are evangelistic in purpose. This means you will minister the Word of God (using the tools that you were trained to use at IMT) where and how the local ministry wants to use you. If you joined a construction team you will use those skills to minister. Some teams are a combination of evangelism
and construction. You will work hard as you fulfill the purpose in which you have been entrusted. However, you will have fun doing it. You will have one day out of every seven days off. This will give you time to see the sights or take a nap, whichever you want most!
IMM desires that you have a cultural experience on your mission trip. For this reason, most IMM mission teams stay in the homes of the local church people. This is not only a great experience for you and the family, but it is also a great chance to minister.
�� Debriefing - The last few hours of your mission trip will be spent in debriefing. Debriefing is a time for you and your team to reflect on all that God has done in you and through you. You will spend time learning how to take all that you have experienced and make changes in your day to day life. Coming home is usually the hard part. You have changed, but making those changes a part of your life can be difficult. With God all things are possible.
