Lack of Clean Water isn’t Acceptable
In Motion is working with Strategic Partners in the Philippines, Central America, and the Caribbean to bring good water and Good News.
The Water Crisis
- 435 million people taking water from unprotected wells and springs
- 144 million people collecting untreated surface water from lakes, ponds, rivers and streams.
Death by Water
3.4 million people, mostly children, die annually from water-related diseases. Most of these illnesses and deaths can be prevented through simple, inexpensive measures (2000).
Within the next 50 years, the global population will rise by 40 to 50 %. The problem is growing under are feet.
There is hope in Helping Water Crisis for Families with Unsafe Drinking Water
NGOs, nonprofits, businesses, and individuals have worked together for years to help bring access to clean water to thousands of people over the world.
In Motion has partnered with Clean Water International and Mission Water Project to bring water to those in the Caribbean, Central America, and the Philippines.
They are effective, easy to use, and lack recurring costs for families making them an appropriate technology in developing countries.
Ray of Hope
Children miss school, women lack proper sanitation, and families continually use bad water. Bio-sand Filters are point-of-use units that are installed directly into the home aiding all these scenarios.
In one study, using surface water with a bio-sand filter saw a 93% reduction in turbidity. Along with that, the filters have been found to remove about 98-99% of bacteria.
Your Support with the Global
Water Crisis is a simple step away.
In Motion has spent years sending mission teams all over the world. In those years, we have seen great need but have also witnessed the Body of Christ rise to the challenge of many issues. From getting Bibles to China to building churches in Costa Rica In Motion has seen Christians step up in real ways.
That is why when we were presented with the opportunity to partner with multiple in-country, clean-water organizations across the world, we jumped in. Through Clean Water International and Mission Water Project we are putting clean water into homes, schools, and promoting life for the most disadvantaged.
