Leader VLOG #19!

Welcome to Episode 19 of our Leadership VLOG series. In this video we consider God’s power already available to us.

Welcome back to the leadership VLOG! Today, I want to jump right in as we continue discussing Ephesians 3.

If you’ve been following this VLOG series, you know my concept has been that you can only lead from what’s in your heart –from who you are.
For all of us as believers in Christ, that is a constant journey. My challenge for you today is: do you believe? The word says the power is in you, do you believe that?
Ephesians 3:20 “Now to him who is able to do far abundantly more than we could ask or think accordingly to the power at work within us…”
We often say things like, “God is immensely powerful and He can do absolutely anything.” But did you know that God has purposely chosen to limit himself. I’m not going to do it right now, but Ephesians 6 is a great place to unpack this a little more. You may not have heard this concept before. God has limited himself; it isn’t that he doesn’t have the power or isn’t able, of course he is; however, he has chosen to restrict what he can do. In difficult areas sometimes we want to see God just show up and do the work for us. And he is saying, “I’ve already done the work…do you believe?” He has provided for us everything we need. You see, if you think God can do absolutely everything and then you don’t see him do it, then you feel like there’s lack. The reality is, there is no lack. There is so much more abundantly above what we could ever need or ask. As usual in these VLOGs, I’m just planting some thoughts and seeds for you to go and think on. The power is in you, you must reach out and take it.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! See you in the next video.
